social_indicator - Remodeling of a 1970s House

The social life of the clients, who like to cook and not just for themselves, is expressed by a multifunctional spatial structure that combines the functions of stairs, kitchen and dining table. An almost 9 m long dining table that can be pulled out of the volume reacts to the changing space requirements of the users. It is the central indicator of social activity. Depending on the occasion, it can seat up to 30 people. The table can extend through the entire room to the terrace and dissolve the separation between indoor and outdoor space.
